Lead-Free

Building a strong tradition of innovation, Intersan is proud to present the first lead-free  line of washfountains and lavatory systems. As of January 1st, 2010, enforcement began on California's AB1953 and Vermont's S152 on the maximum allowable lead content in plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings. Following these groundbreaking pieces of legislation, the US Government signed into law "The Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act" that will make lead-free a country wide mandate.

Intersan feels strongly that lead and the adverse effects it has on children must be addressed and was compelled to be the first in the washfountain industry to go lead-free.
