Saniwave®

The Saniwave® is designed as for use as either an individual wash station or as a bank of wash stations each supplied with an independent drain and trap. Additionally, optional shelving is provided to accessorize the unit. Given the modular characteristics of the Saniwave®, bowls can either be installed with shelving at 30" or 40" centers, allowing for maximum user comfort. The fixture saves water and energy over conventional plumbing fixtures. Each vandal resistant spray nozzle dispenses water at a rate of 0.5 GPM.

Saniwave's® innovative integral bowl trap cover and shelving are made of anti-microbial Solidsan, a composite material of acrylic polyester polymer resins and aluminium trihydrate fillers, which has the look of elegance, pleasant to the touch, but is equally durable and resistant to permanent staining. The unit complies with ANSI Z124.3 IAPMO IGC 156-2003 and is cUPC approved. It is resistant to stains and burns. Solidsan cleans easily with Scrotchbrite, household cleaners or fine grit sand paper. The sprayhead and locking cover are constructed of 304 stainless steel and allows for easy access to all working components. As an option, Istronic, Wavetronic or Santronic passive infrared battery operated sensor operated faucets may be specified as an alternative to the sprayhead.

The microprocessor controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valve. The water flows a minimum of 5 seconds and a maximum of 30 seconds. If the user finishes washing before the maximum delay, the solenoid valve closes in 1.5 seconds and stops the water flow. The no-touch control eliminates user's contact with soiled and contaminated surfaces.

The Saniwave contributes to meeting LEED requirements in the following categories:

  • WEp1 - Water Efficiency
  • WEc3 - Water Use Reduction

The nozzle has a flow rate of 0.5 gpm.

Electronic units: The water will flow as long as the hands are under the sensor with a maximum of 30 seconds.

Pushbutton units: The water will flow for 10 seconds which means that 0.083 gallons of water is used per cycle.

The electronic soap dispenser option works on the existing water pressure and doesn't require any outside power.

The water distribution head is made of stainless steel. Stainless Steel is 100 % recyclable.
